12 months? Try 12 weeks! August 22, 2006 O. King (UK) 22 out of 22 found this review helpful
While a newborn may not be able to fully appreciate the rhymes, my daughter, now 15 weeks, loves this cube. We bought it for her at about 8 weeks and it was one of the first toys she reached out and grabbed. She loves the movable polar bear and enjoys the music option. Like the previous review mentioned, this music is not at all annoying as some other toys can be, and you even find yourself singing along! I will definitely be buying lots of these for my friends' babies! I can really see my daughter playing with this for a very long time as she starts to learn first words through to colours, but it's got a great value for young babies as well.
Magic Melody Block July 21, 2005 Angie (Dorset United Kingdom) 19 out of 19 found this review helpful
My daughter was given the melody block as a Christmas present, she was 8wks old. She would sit with me and listen to the tunes and over the months began to feel the different textures on the block and loved kissing the mirror! Now an independant 9month old she uses it daily and she never seems to tire of it. Its worth its weight in gold! The rhymes and music are pleasant to listen to, not at all offensive and plinky plonky!- a must for all babies! It's that good I'm buying one for my best friend's new baby!
Durable and baby controlled March 12, 2008 Mr. M. J. Vacher (Jersey Channel Islands) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Our baby was a little bit scared of this when she got it for Xmas (aged 8 months) but after lots of encouragement now loves it - aged 10 months. She turns it over and waits until the song is finished before turning it over to another side to hear another turn. She sits and nods/dances to the music and controls the changes to the tunes herself. Very durable and not annoying. From a parent who usually dislikes the battery controlled toys!!!!
fantastic - my baby's favourite November 20, 2008 E. Davies (London, UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is fantastic. My baby quickly learned how he could make it play a tune and it is guaranteed to keep him entertained longer than any other toy. Chasing it as it rolled away was also his motivation to learn to roll over! Now that he's beginning to sit up, he's appreciating it in a whole new way, so I can see this being a favourite for some time to come. And the tunes are catchy but not awful and tinny like some other toys - I even find myself singing them in the car!
Great fun November 3, 2008 indanthrone (London, UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
My sister bought this for our niece when she was a few months old. She has never tired of it, now 13 months she still likes playing with it. When the cube is turned it plays a new song depending on what picture is showing at the top. Songs are cute. It is brightly coloured and well made. Good value for money.
