Very easy durable and easy to use. Saves having to buy batteries. Finally gives my son a rest from using the leapster when it is recharging and he does another activity. Well worth the money!

This was purchased for my 5 year old grandson for christmas....Thought it might have just been put to one side because of all of his other presents...However, he uses it all the time & takes it everywhere...This review was requested specifically for the charger/AC Adapter....This item does its job as expected...I hav not had any use of it myself so cannot comment further

My son got a leapster 2 for Christmas and we have gone through so many batteries! This recharger is great and I wished I had bought it sooner - would have saved a lot of money and hopefully will from now on! Charge this on mains and attach instead of battery pack. Well worth it!

Plugs straight into the leapster and saves buying batteries. You can also use the power unit to power the leapster from the mains.

I have middle starred on fun + educational for this product because it is a recharger, not a toy. It is a must to purchase with the Leapster 2 (or the Leapster 2 will run out of juice and you can not use it). It seems pretty sturdy. It comes with 2 recharging options - 1) straight to the Leapster plug it in and it recharges the battery on the Leapster 2) it has a little pack which you can install batteries and attach to the back of the Leapster - presumably for those occassions that you want to use the Leapster for extra long without access to electricity e.g. car journeys / flights - we have not used this yet so can not comment. All in all no complaints.
